Sephiria Items: Potions, Artifacts, Tablets, and Item Guide

Browse a practical Sephiria items guide covering Potions, Artifacts, Tablets, inventory placement, and how to verify item effects in the current version.

Use this Sephiria items page as a directory. The game describes a run around weapons, upgrades, Artifacts, Tablets, and other rewards; the exact item tooltip in your current version remains the authority for values and interactions.

Start with the item role

Before keeping an item, ask whether it improves the current weapon, activates a useful combo, protects survival, or solves a board-space problem. A rare item that does none of these jobs can be worse than a flexible defensive option.

Potions

See the Sephiria Potions guide for potion handling. Version 1.0.24 changed potion drops so they appear separately instead of being stacked together; check the current drop presentation before comparing screenshots from an older run.

Artifacts and Tablets

Use the Sephiria Artifacts guide for passive item planning and the Sephiria Tablets guide for relationships that depend on placement. The Inventory Grid guide explains how to reserve cells, while the Side Bag guide covers items that are stored rather than active.

Item checklist

  1. Read the current tooltip and record the patch version.
  2. Decide whether the item is active, stored, consumable, or a future combo piece.
  3. Check its board position before moving another item.
  4. Keep one flexible cell when the next reward may change the route.
  5. Recheck the effect after an update or a major layout change.

Choosing between item categories

An item directory is most useful when it explains the decision behind an item, not only its name. Potions solve an immediate resource problem, Artifacts usually shape the long-term direction of a run, Tablets ask you to think about position, and weapon upgrades change how the character actually attacks. These categories can overlap in a build, but they should not be evaluated with the same rule.

For a potion, ask whether using it now prevents a likely failure or whether the next room gives you a safer opportunity. For an Artifact, ask whether its effect supports the weapon and whether the next threshold is realistic. For a Tablet, look at the cells around it before deciding that the text effect is strong. For a weapon upgrade, compare the recovery window and range as well as the headline damage.

Active, stored, and temporary items

The same item can have a different practical value depending on where it is. An active item occupies a board cell and may participate in a live relationship. A Side Bag item is a reserve that can be useful later but should not be counted as part of the current combination. A potion or other consumable can be valuable even when it does not belong to the permanent build because it changes the risk of the next encounter.

When reviewing a screenshot or community list, identify which state it shows. A list of owned items is not necessarily a list of active effects. This distinction prevents a common mistake: copying an inventory collection while forgetting the board placement that made the build work.

A repeatable item review

At the beginning of a run, choose a primary damage plan and leave room for defense. In the middle, replace filler items only when the replacement improves the present room or brings a reachable threshold closer. Near a boss, stop moving the board unless the change solves a clear weakness. After a patch, read the new tooltip before trusting an old item ranking.

The Sephiria Combo Guide is useful when several items point in the same direction. The Build Presets guide helps you record the plan for a later run. Use the database index as a starting point, then open the focused page for the item system that matches your question.

Updating an item record

When an item changes, update the record with the version, the exact visible tooltip, the effect category, and the test that confirmed it. Do not replace a confirmed value with a community estimate simply because the estimate is more detailed. If the official announcement describes a behavior change but not every affected item, state the confirmed scope and link the focused guide for the remaining uncertainty.

This approach makes the directory useful to new and returning players. New players can identify whether they need a potion, a board item, or a weapon upgrade. Returning players can see which page needs a version check after an update. It also keeps the item hub from competing with the detailed pages that explain a single system in depth.
