Sephiria Save File Location on Windows

The Windows save folder commonly reported for Sephiria is:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Sephiria\

Paste that path into File Explorer's address bar. If Windows expands it to a different user folder, make sure you are signed into the Windows account that actually runs the game.

Do not confuse the save folder with the diagnostic log folder. Steam technical-support posts may also reference a TEAMHORAY\Sephiria folder under AppData\LocalLow for logs; that location is useful for troubleshooting, but it is not the primary save location above.

How to Back Up a Save

1. Close Sephiria and wait for Steam to finish any visible sync activity.
2. Open %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Sephiria\.
3. Copy the entire Sephiria folder to a dated backup folder outside Saved Games.
4. Keep the original folder unchanged until the backup opens successfully.
5. If the game has multiple slots or backup files, preserve all of them rather than copying only a file with a familiar name.

Use a date in the backup name, such as Sephiria-save-2026-08-07, so a later test cannot overwrite the known-good copy.

How to Restore a Backup

Close the game first, then copy the backup contents back into the current save folder. Rename the current folder to something like Sephiria-before-restore instead of deleting it. This makes the operation reversible if the backup belongs to another build or Steam account.

Steam Cloud can replace local files after a restore. If the restored progress disappears, stop launching the game repeatedly and resolve the Steam Cloud conflict using the newer or local copy you intend to keep.

If Sephiria Cannot Read the Save

• Confirm the folder belongs to the same Windows user and Steam account.
• Restore the whole folder, not a random single file.
• Check whether the save came from a different game build or an interrupted update.
• Use Steam's Verify integrity of game files for missing or damaged installation files; this does not replace a missing personal save backup.
• Keep the original and backup folders for support before trying a repair or delete operation.
